CWUHA - Convoy Blog & Video Footage

A new and exciting initiative has been set up so that you can follow the progress of the September Convoy to Moldova (poorest country in Europe), which left the UK on Friday 3rd September. We have set up a daily blog (internet connection permitting) with video footage which you can access by visiting our website: http://www.cwuha.org/. The blog/video will include interviews of the drivers whilst on their travels, and when they deliver their aid to hospitals, schools, institutions and needy families. Many of children presiding in the institutions are not orphans, but placed there by their families in the belief they will be better cared for. We work closely with in-country NGO's to identify those children at risk and allocate aid and goods to keep these families together.

This initiative would not be possible without the excellent support of BT, the hard work of Tony Pearson who looks after our website and Paul Newsham who has led on this project on behalf of the trustees and will be conducting the interviews, updating the blog and downloading the videos.

Once again Eircom, AnPost, BT and Royal Mail have loaned us the vehicles and released the staff, so a big thank you to them.

Please visit http://www.cwuha.org/

Thank you for you continued support.
