Banners and debate at Tolpuddle

CWU activists were out in force this weekend celebrating the UK's proud history of trade unionism which dates back to the 1830s at the annual Tolpuddle Martyrs Festival in Dorset.

Saturday was all about political debate and catching up with campaign news with a variety of 'talking in tents' sessions and a wide range of stalls. Senior deputy general secretary Tony Kearns (pictured laeft) was on the panel for a Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) -hosted debate called Jobs and Trident in the Tolpuddle Fringe tent.
