Annual Conference 2011

This year's Annual Conference will be taking place from Sunday, 22 May through to Thursday, 26th May in Bournemouth.

CWUYouth will be hosting a stall again this year and the theme is organising:

Lots of advice and information about how to organise when it comes to young members.

Come and share your own experiences and knowledge.

Knowledge is power - knowledge shared is powerful.

Come and say hello if you are going.

We are also celebrating 10 years of the National Youth Advisory Committee so come and sign our Book of Celebration.

Annual Conference 2010

CWUYouth were ever present at last year's CWU Annual Conference that took place in May in Bournemouth.

The stall attracted a lot of attention as usual and this year CWUYouth took the opportunity to launch its youth-orientated material that would hopefully go some way to support branches and branch youth officers in their endeavours to attract new young members and encourage members to become more involved in the union. The posters and leaflets can be viewed on the resources pages of the site.

Several regions showcased the good work they are doing in their area and lots if interest was shown in the work of the Climate Solidarity Campaign.

Once again all young delegates were invited to meet up for a drink and a chat at a local holstery and was a great way for young delegates to get to know each other.
