CWU Annual Conference 2010

CWUYouth will again be hosting a stall at CWU Annual Conference.

This year's theme will be youth in the regions. Regional Youth Committees are invited to send in a showcase of their youth work in their regions. This can include reports on events, an updated contact sheet for the committee, photographs, etc. Entries should be either posted to Jo Thair at head office or emailed to youth@cwu.org. Regions have been notified via email, but if you do require further information please do get in touch using the above email address.

Additionally the stall will be showcasing the role of the Branch Youth Officer. Branches and young members are welcome to come along to the stall to pick up some useful leaflets and posters and to seek advice about finding and recruiting Branch Youth Officers.

There will also a table dedicated to the Climate Solidarity Project - come and see how you can participate and pick up some goodies too!

The now traditional Wii will be available to play to alleviate some conference stress!

Tuesday Night Young Members Meet-Up

We thought we would try and fix up a young members get together prior to one of the social events happening during conference week. Looking at the conference calendar it has been decided that the best night would be Tuesday evening before the Eastern Charity night. So if you are going to conference and will be there for the Tuesday night we will be meeting up at 7pm at the Moon in the Square in Exeter Road in Bournemouth.
